God Is Doing Something Brand New

happy new year

Do you need God to do something brand new in your life in the coming year?

  • Would you like your character to be transformed to be more like Christ’s?
  • Do you want the discipline to spend more time in prayer and the Word each day?
  • Would you like your hunger for God to increase?
  • Do you need a financial miracle?
  • Does your body need healing?
  • Do relationships in your life need to be restored?

Be encouraged by these four passages of scripture:

Isaiah 43:16-19, MSG

This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.”

Ephesians 4:22-24, NLT

Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”

Revelation 21:5, HCSB

“Then the One seated on the throne said, ‘Look! I am making everything new.’ He also said, ‘Write, because these words are faithful and true.’”

2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

May God bless you in the coming year! May He draw you close and reveal Himself to you. May you see His hand and feel His presence each step of the way.

“You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.”

Psalm 65:11
