God Is Able: He Won't Fail

Whatever your causes of fasting are — whatever the problems and challenges and overwhelming situations are in your life that you’re fasting about — Beloved, God is ABLE and He WON’T FAIL!!!

If you desire God’s presence and His intervention so much that you chose to fast for twenty-one days in order to enlist His help, this song is a must-hear for you! A MUST-hear!

I posted it several years ago … but as I listened to it again tonight … and wept … and wept, God reminded me the anointing on it is so powerful, and the message is so timely, so needed, and so true, that we need to hear it again! And again! Especially as we’re fasting.

This song is good news sent from glory … just for YOU!

Beloved, no matter what you’re going through, God is ABLE!! And He will NOT FAIL! Our covenant keeping God is faithful! He’s the same yesterday, today and forever:

  • He’s still All-powerful. …
  • He’s still Jehovah Jireh, your provider. …
  • He’s still El Roi, the God who sees your need. …
  • He’s still El Shaddai, your all-sufficiency. …
  • He’s still El Elyon, the most high God. …
  • He’s still the great I AM! …
  • He’s still Jehovah-M’Kaddesh, your sanctification. …
  • He’s still Jehovah-Nissi, your banner in battle. …
  • He’s still Jehovah-Rohi, your Shepherd. …
  • He’s still Jehovah-Rophe. your Healer. …
  • He’s still Jehovah-Shammah, ever-present with you. …
  • He’s still Jehovah-Shalom, your Peace. …
  • He’s still Jehovah-Tsidkenu, your Righteousness. …
  • He’s still the One who refreshes tired bodies and restores tired souls (Jer. 31:25). …
  • He’s still your deliverer! …
  • He’s still the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. …
  • He’s still the ONE who was before all things — your problem is not a surprise to Him! …
  • He’s still the Way-maker! …
  • He’s still the One who works wonders! …
  • He’s still the One who gives victory in battle! …
  • He’s still the Name above every name. …
  • He’s still the King of Kings. …
  • He’s still the head over EVERY power and authority! (Col. 2:9) …
  • He’s still the one who has tattooed your name and your walls —your situation, your need — on the palm of His hand. (Is.49:16) …
  • He’s still the One who rejoices over you with singing.  …
  • He’s still the One who takes great delight in you. …
  • He’s still mighty to save! (Zeph. 3:17) …

So don’t listen to those lies the enemy keeps telling you, saying your situation is beyond God’s power or will to help. God is ABLE! He loves you. And He will NOT fail you!

Living, Breathing Witness

I’m a living, breathing witness that God will not fail! I’m no longer confined to bed. I no longer need a wheelchair. I’m no longer writhing on the floor, screaming in agony—proof that God is able and He won’t fail!

I had worsened year after year (to the degree that doctors said I’d never get better and even told my parents it was so hopeless, they should commit me to an institution and get on with their lives). Doctors gave no hope. Thousands of medical treatments had brought no improvement at all, making it appear as if the doctors might have been right. God had given me promises stating He’d bring me out of my captivity, but year after year things only worsened … exponentially. … For seven years.

But God was able! He didn’t fail! And He was right on time! He didn’t fail in raising me up out of the wheelchair! He didn’t fail in delivering me from bed. He didn’t fail to turn my wailing into dancing!  

And Praise God, He’s STILL able. He STILL doesn’t fail. And He’s STILL right on time! 

That was a past season. … In this season, I’m once again up against some seemingly insurmountable obstacles. For a few years now, I’ve been hard pressed on every side to the point of suffocation—health suffocation, financial suffocation, mental suffocation, spiritual suffocation, family suffocation, and even ministry suffocation. Each day presses harder with exponentially increased force. Yes, I too have some crushing mountains I need God to move out of my way! I need Him to once again demonstrate that He is able. That He won’t fail. And that He’s right on time! 

And I’m confident He will do so! He’s never failed me yet. And He’s not about to start!

He’s never failed you yet either! And He’s not about to start!

Worship Him. Speak Well of Him. And Shout in Praise!

I may not see the evidence today, or tomorrow that God is working. But no matter what I see or don’t see in the natural—no matter what you see or don’t see in the natural—it’s time for us to shout like the Israelites did going around Jericho! We’ve fasted food and marched around the city in prayer just as the Israelites fasted something from their mouths (words) as they marched around Jericho. And now, just as the Israelites did, it’s time for us to shout and declare the victory! It’s time to shout, for the LORD has given us this city! (Joshua 6:16)

It’s time for you and me to believe that God has sent from Heaven the answer to our prayer—that we will see it manifested on this earth. And we will!

God may choose a different solution to our problems than the one we would have selected. But He’s faithful. He answers prayer! He responds when we fast! He will choose the answer that most works for for our good and His glory! One way or another, He is going to show us that He’s heard our heart’s cry!

The darkest hour comes before dawn. So hold on, my brother. Hold on, my sister! God is able and He won’t fail!!

Hallelujah, Jesus! Bless your name, oh God! Hallelujah, Jesus! Bless your name, oh God! You won’t fail!

The Radical Strategy of “Repeat Song”

I have a dear friend in heaven who taught me by example a powerful spiritual warfare tactic. When God spoke to her through a song, she would put it on repeat … all night long … all day long. And in the years since I learned this from her, I’ve experienced the power of it — it renews the mind … shifts focus to God from your problem … builds faith … praises God and thanks Him advance … and kicks the enemy OUT!

If you’re going through something today, This is definitely a set-your-ipod-on-repeat kind of song!

Sent From Glory Just For You

I prayed all day about what to post today. God didn’t give me anything … all day. It would have been out of line for me to pick something on my own. As the hours went by today and there was no new fasting post, I felt awful. I take my responsibility seriously—my responsibility to encourage you as you fast, to guide you in prayer, to teach you, and most of all, to bring a word from God to you. So to have nothing at all? It’s bad, but better to say nothing at all than to say something that’s mere flesh, void any anointing or spiritual power.

At nine o’clock tonight, I was posting a link on Facebook… one thing led to another … I went to post this song to encourage others … began typing God’s attributes (above) … and the Holy Spirit made it clear: this song is the post God ordained for you today. This song is the post I prayed over all day long. This song has a word from the Lord to you.

This song is good news sent from glory … just for YOU!

It may have appeared a few years ago on the site, but today it was sent straight from Heaven to you with a fresh word for your need!

God is able and He won’t fail!

  • Do you believe your covenant keeping God is faithful? That He’s the same yesterday, today and forever?
