Beloved,
The time has come for Christians in East Texas to unite in consistent, concerted prayer. America’s cup of iniquity is overflowing and there are consequences to be reaped. Current discomforts pale in comparison to God’s impending judgment if Christians do not repent of the sins of the Church and its people. The future of our nation and national revival are vital reasons to pray.
Yet there is even more cause for prayer – individuals in our community desperately need God’s intervention in their lives; souls on our watch are destined for hell; complacency and passivity have replaced true passion for Christ; churches are content to conduct services by invention of man rather than the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. The gauge of God’s presence among believers is their personal and corporate prayer life. Where there is apathy toward prayer, there is an absence of God’s presence. Prayer must outrank all other spiritual activity.
I want God’s power to descend, touch hearts and transform lives here in East Texas, don’t you? Therefore, it is imperative that we pray! In answer to God’s call to prayer, Shades of Grace launched a Concert of Prayer in October 2009.
Combining extended worship with intensive prayer, a concert of prayer brings powerful results. Throughout the Bible and the history of the great revivals, concerts of prayer have preceded a life-changing, revolutionary descent of God upon the soul of man, the heart of the church and the life of the community. Our first concert event was life-changing…with more events to come! I would like to personally invite you to partner with this vital endeavor, bringing spiritual changes to the community that will last for generations.
Because of the faithful prayers and generous support of those whom God has called to our side, Shades of Grace continues a life-changing ministry through the Concert of Prayer. We deeply appreciate your friendship and pledge to do all that we can to publicize your business and faithfully support you in prayer.

“15As you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel…not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16…you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. 17Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. 18…I am amply supplied, now that I have received…the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:15-16)
