"For the word of God is living active..." Hebrews 4:12

"I have heard many stirring testimonies and have been blessed by the ministry of many godly men and women, but never like...when Natalie Nichols addressed our congregation….I was overwhelmed with the depth of her pure love for Jesus and her knowledge of His ways...When she told her story in our church...I still could not comprehend the extent of her suffering nor the depth of God’s revelation to her heart. Our congregation was impacted by her message in Word and deed. God has developed a message for the church of today through her life and testimony.

I cannot emphasize too strongly how much I endorse her ministry to you and your church. This is a modern day Job...Her walk with God is unlike any I’m aware of . She exalts Jesus and His Word unlike anyone I’ve heard. God has given her a message that our people need to hear. The day she speaks, you will leave your church with a profound sense that you have been in God’s presence."

"Natalie’s presentation grabbed our hearts concerning the journey that she has traveled. She powerfully directed us to the one who had sustained her in her journey. The young adults were drawn intently to the message…seeing someone who had been on top…knocked down…and yet praising the Lord through it all. She came to our church on a Wednesday evening and we have requested she return on a Sunday morning as soon as her schedule permits.."

"After my daughter, Ashley, heard Natalie speak at our church's youth camp about a year ago, she came home and could not wait to tell me about this special young lady who spoke to them. The thing that she was most impressed with was that during the years of Natalie's illness, although she "lost her mind...even though God knew where it was," she never lost her scripture memory!

I immediately made a mental note of Natalie's name and thought that I would love to hear her testimony myself sometime. I also thought that someday she might be able to come and speak to our women at Travis.

When I was asked to find a speaker for our Ladies’ Night Out, the biggest annual ladies event at Travis, I immediately began praying about asking Natalie. However, in my prayers, I felt a real sense that we needed to have a mother-daughter team to speak this year. I did not know at the time that Sandra was now speaking with Natalie. When I called to discuss the possibility of Natalie coming to share with our women, one of the first things Natalie told me was that her mother was speaking with her now. After reading her testimony, that was all the confirmation I needed!

Natalie and Sandra both came and spoke to 420 women at our annual dinner. We would have sold more tickets, but that is all the room would hold! Although every year is a sell-out and always a real treat for our ladies, it was our prayer (and Natalie's, as well) that our ladies would not get caught up in "the story," but that they would come away seeing the mighty works that God had performed in Natalie and Sandra's lives. Our verse for the evening was Psalm 145:4, "One generation will share with another His mighty acts!". God very specifically answered our prayers as we have heard that said from one woman after another! Our women have not stopped talking about how God was magnified through both Natalie and Sandra. What a blessing it was to hear, not only from Natalie, about God's faithfulness, but also from her Mother's heart, as well! I don't believe there was a single woman who left that night without wanting to know Jesus more after Natalie and Sandra shared from their hearts how God had walked with them "in the fire" and how He continues to give them the strength to face every day's challenges.

Our women, at Travis, are "spoiled" in some ways in that we have had the opportunity over the years to have heard many wonderful speakers and are blessed even in our own fellowship with incredible Bible teachers and talented musicians. But, when Natalie sings, it is so obviously from a heart of worship and gratitude that God is honored and we were all blessed beyond measure. She made a HUGE impact on my daughter, Ashley...on me...and even on my husband who got to spend some time with her while she was here.

My prayer is that God will sustain Natalie physically so that He can multiply her ministry through her tapes, videos, and personal speaking engagements and that Sandra will be able to continue to bring that added dimension of a Mother's heart to their ministry together. Everyone needs to hear their story! All who do will be encouraged, strengthened in the faith and blessed!"

"The walk of faith God has called some to walk is filled with struggle and pain. Yet it is this kind of walk that assures all that Christ has overcome the world. God’s call of Natalie Nichols is to live out that faith and to live in His grace and His faithfulness as a loving testimony of His sufficiency."

"Shades of Grace spoke at an event at our church and the ladies of our church were ministered to more than I had ever expected. Natalie definitely has a story of God's faithfulness and turning to His Word for direction and comfort. Even though her story on the surface might seem depressing, her life story is uplifting and encouraging as you see how God had comforted her through a difficult time. Natalie's contagious attitude stems from a grounded relationship with Jesus and our ladies fell in love with her and her persistence. Natalie has a gift of sharing her story in a way that encourages others to seek God and depend on Him through whatever difficulty they may be experiencing in their life. She points ladies to the Lord!"

"Natalie Grace Nichols and her Mother, Sandra, were a true blessing to our Ladies’ Retreat! Natalie’s perspective on God’s grace in times of trial and suffering, as well as His deliverance brought the ladies to a new understanding of the ways of God and the work and purposes of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Sandra is a living example of God’s sufficiency in times when He is most desperately needed for our own trials and those of our loved ones. Both of these dear sisters are gifted in handling the Word of God skillfully. I whole-heartedly recommend their ministry of love and compassion!"

"Shades of Grace should be changed to Mountains of Grace! Natalie and her Mom, Sandra showered our ladies at our Glenview Retreat with the felt Presence of God. Their stories don't dwell on the suffering and pain - for surely there was a tremendous amount of that to go around many times - but their stories dwell on the great power of the living, vibrant Word of God. God blessed each woman there with the Word that flowed from Natalie and Sandra. Our hearts overflowed with the wonder of God's mighty power exhibited in their lives and experiences - but always it was" to God be the glory, Great things He has done!"
We look forward to being under their teaching again in the future, for they have so much more to teach us."
